SUMMARY:CREAM BODY  (LAGOS THEATRE FESTIVAL) 2021
DESCRIPTION:Cream body is a comedic play with hilarious undertones which depicts the daily Nigerian face me i face you home where all tenant rush to the bathroom at the same hour of the morning to get to their work and avoid traffic. Different characters are seen here and the unfortunate incident happens this particular morning which takes a shady turn on all characters. The entire play sees its characters all tying white towels with buckets\, tooth brushes\, bathing soap\, sponge and cream from beginning to the end and the goal of the play in the end\, is for everyone\, both young and old to begin to pay special attention to our skin and be proud of our identity no matter the colour. Shunning stereotypes\, prejudices and biases based on skin colour and eradicating those demeaning words we use especially against women believing their skin colour or body feature equates to their brain capacity. Cream-Body was inspired during our research work on ‘SKIN TONE’ with the Theater o.N Berlin as part of her 2020 edition of the Fratz International Festival. A member of International Associations/Networks. His passion for creativity and storytelling matches his strategic thinking\, ideation\, leadership\, influencer\, activator and learner abilities as he has led outstanding local and international projects and brands across Africa and Europe. He has gained over 12 years of experience within the industry and a B.A and M.A (Theatre Arts) holder from the University Of Lagos\, Department Of Creative Arts.
