ORIMOLADE THE MUSICAL
Mose Orimolade Tunolase (The founder and spiritual father of the Cherubim and Seraphim church) was born into the herbalist family of Tunolase, his father Tunolase hated him even before he was born. Instead of welcoming his newborn, Tunolase wanted him dead.

This musical play travels through the circumstances that surrounded the birth, life and death of Mose Orimolade Tunolase

The play dives through his early experiences in Ikare, his Lagos arrival and life spent with Captain Abiodun who is an integral in Orimolade and the C&S church history.

The Orimolade story takes us through the musical life of Baba Adura, his dreams for the Aladura church, a subtle and very dramatic touch on twist of events till his call to God’s glory.

Musical Style: The score combines traditional Yoruba music with gospel, hymns, and contemporary musical theatre styles. This blend creates a unique soundscape that honours Orimolade’s heritage while appealing to a global audience.
